- Who is eligible to enter the competition?
Undergraduate students, graduate students, postgraduate students and academicians are all welcome to apply.
- What is the limit on team size?
You may enter the competition on your own or in a team composed of 3 people at most. Only students (undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate) may apply individually. Groups must include at least one active
student (undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate). Group members who are not a student or an academician may select the “Student” option in the application form. If your team is selected among 40 semi-finalist
teams, only one group member shall submit a student certificate.
Participating teams from abroad must include at least one Turkish student (undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate).
- What is the mandatory language for proposal submissions?
The mandatory language for applications is Turkish. Non native Turkish speakers may apply in English.
- How does the competition work?
The competition consists of two phases; business idea contest and business plan contest. The aim in the first phase is to reveal the most innovative ideas. Teams succeeding the first phase will
prepare their business plans and present them to a panel of judges. The best business plan will be awarded with the grand prize.
- How many business ideas can be submitted?
Teams may submit as many business ideas as they like in the Business Idea Contest.
- How are accommodation and transportation expenses covered during the workshop?
Traveling and accommodation expenses of students participating in the workshop will be jointly covered by Ozyegin University and business partners.
- How are Intellectual Property rights protected?
Judges, competition committee members and mentors will sign non-disclosure agreements to protect Intellectual Property Rights of business-idea owners.
