Fuat Sami, completed his secondary education at Eton College, London. He earned his Bachelor in Science degree at Imperial College and Master's degree from Tanaka Business School, Imperial College. Mr. Fuat Sami worked for Helix Management Consultants as a senior consultant and project manager for several years. After many years of consulting experience, Fuat Sami founded LabX, an entrepreneurship and investment consultancy firm spun out of Helix Management Consultants in 2006, and currently holds the position of general manager. Mr. Sami serves on the boards of 7 different companies, ranging from telecommunications, internet, advertising to medical sectors and all of which have been financed by Turkey's first and only Business Angel Network. He is also a board member of GYIAD (Young Professionals and Businessmen Association), president of GYIAD's Project Development Commission, board member of TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) Young Entrepreneurs Commission and actively involved in Cercl'e d'Orient Foreign Affairs Committee.

Dr. Civanlar received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey in 1979 and 1981 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from North Carolina State University (NCSU), Raleigh, in 1984. Before joining Özyeğin University, he was a Vice President and Director of Network and Media Lab in DoCoMo USA Labs, Palo Alto, CA, since 2006. He was a visiting professor of Computer Engineering at Koç University, from 2002 to 2006. Starting from 1991, he held various positions at AT&T Labs-Research. He has numerous publications, and over 40 patents either granted or pending. Dr. Civanlar became a fellow of IEEE in 2005. He is a Fulbright scholar and a member of Sigma Xi and he is currently an editor for Image Communications.

Suleyman Yilmaz completed his education at Bilkent University, Ankara, Department of International Relations in 1992. He started his business carrier at Nurol Holding as a finance specialist in 1992. He served as analyst and later Ankara-Ulus branch manager at Nurol Securities Inc. for 2 years. In 1998 he became a foreign economic relations and business development manager at Nurol Holding and hold that position for 6 years. Later, he served as finance director at Eurasiasat Sam Ankara Liaison Office. During his business life, he focused on portfolio management, marketing activities, business development and project appraisal activities, feasibility and due diligence activities and other financial affairs. In 2004, he started to work as senior analyst at KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. Co. Since 2005, he has been carrying out the duty of General Manager and serving as a member of Investment Committee of KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. Co.

Yusuf Azoz holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University (Pennsylvania, USA) and a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bosphorus University (Istanbul, Turkey). Mr. Azoz worked at Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore) as a senior consultant in the area of Unified Messaging and other advanced value-added services. Later Yusuf Azoz joined Turkcell and has played key roles in the growth and development of value added services at Turkcell since 2001. Yusuf Azoz formerly was the Head of Content Services and Partnering within the VAS Management unit at Turkcell. Mr. Azoz has been the General Manager of Kariyer.net, Turkey’s leading online human resources platform, since 2007.

Ziya Boyacigiller makes early-stage investments in technology driven start-up companies in Istanbul and the Silicon Valley. Mr. Boyacigiller, a venture partner at Formative Ventures, has been working with management teams of Aeroprise in the U.S and with AirTies, Artesis and Vistek in Turkey to ensure company growth.  Mr. Boyacigiller, also a consultant to Endeavor and Inovent in Turkey, delivers Strategy and Entrepreneurship seminars to MBA students at Sabanci University. Ziya Boyacigiller, former general manager of Maxim Companies, joined Maxim in 1983 as a co-founder and served in various technical and executive management capacities for 17 years. Prior to Maxim, Boyacigiller started E/Z CAD Inc., a pioneer in the PC-based electronics design tools industry. Boyacigiller holds an MSc in Engineering from UCLA in analog circuit design and computer sciences, and a bachelor of science degree from Bosphorus University, Istanbul.
