I founded WMG 30 years ago to encourage excellence in manufacturing. Today we offer a world class practical post-graduate business education and a renowned research and development capability - ideal for bringing together students and companies.
We started small- just two people and an office –and have grown to employ 300 people and fill four buildings at the University of Warwick. So I know how difficult it can be for new companies to find the expertise they need to grow.
Over the years we’ve built partnerships both with industrial giants like Siemens and Tata, and with start ups with belief in new fields like experiential engineering and digital healthcare. What all these companies have in common is faith in talented people and belief in hard work, which is exactly what “birFIKRINmiVAR?” is about.
As the economy has become global, it’s essential to encourage entrepreneurs across national boundaries, so we at WMG are delighted to support “birFIKRINmiVAR?” in its third year as it grows to become a truly international business competition.
